Matte or Gloss Lamination is a film that is applied to the outside cover of your publication, it provides additional strength and stability. Matte Laminate has a smooth, soft silky finish; while a Gloss Laminate enhances colours and has a crisp, cutting edge finish. Most clients like the combination of both finishes and as a result we settle for a Matte Laminate with a UV Coating. UV Coating or Ultraviolet Coating, is a very glossy, shiny coating applied to the printed paper surface and cured on a special machine using ultraviolet light.
